Home of Baked, and Half-Baked, Goods

Our operation is being set up, please come back at the beginning of February 05 to look further.
We will have the finest of barley and emmer wheat bread for you.
The laborers here will take you through the process, step by step.

However, in the interim, we do have a fun auction for you, from e-bay-amon:

The face of Ramesses II is on this piece of bread! Cryoprotected for the millenniums.

A true collector's delight!
Bid early and often.

Ah, now we see, we are ready to Bake Barley Bread!

First, you grow and raise the barley, and pick it.
This is a tedious hand picked job, which is why our bread is expensive.
Our working surfaces are mostly wood, as you can see above.
This also makes us a high-price outfit.
Anyhow, we take the bread and mill it into barley grain.

Come back soon, an entire writup of the breadmaking process will be presented here.

Then we get the yeast and we often chop up some, ah, allium roots,
as seen to the lower left. Everything gets tossed into a kiln.

After rising, Before baking.

The final product, not to traditional Egyptian shape, alas.

YUM!
