This one I decided to get a jump on the day, and go up for the beginning part. My ankle was swollen, and I wanted to park close by to the entrance. It's a very full event, and the extensive parking lot sees a lot of use. Mind you, they do have handicapped parking, but that's for officially-handicapped folks.I'd missed the previous year, which was quite disconcerting, but now wanted to make up for lost time. I wasn't going to miss yet another year!
This meant I got to see the Opening Ceremonies this time. Very well attended festival!
As a part of the end of the opening ceremonies, various people associated with the festival get to mill around a bit. Including, it seems, this goat!
